Digital Alarm Clocks

A popular alternative to the more traditional analogue alarm clocks are digital alarm clocks. These are popular for many because they are easier to read, as they display the numbers of the time in an actual numerical form rather than with the use of angles and a round clock face. These usually use a VFD, LCD, or LED display. One problem that some may have with this type of clock is that after a power failure or if there is a change of batteries, the digital clock will then revert back to its originally time of 12:00, which requires constant resets. However, with the convenience that the clock offers otherwise, this is a small price to pay.

For travellers, digital alarm clocks are usually preferred over other types because they are so small and can easily be thrown into luggage. Most are battery operated, so they are extremely portable and easy to care for as well.
